Ahok Berencana Ratakan Kalijodo

Jakarta - Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta berencana mengubah kawasan Kalijodo yang terletak di wilayah Jakarta Barat menjadi area pertamanan atau ruang terbuka hijau (RTH).

"Pastinya akan lebih bagus kan? Sekalian menambah RTH di Ibu Kota," kata Gubernur DKI Basuki Tjahaja Purnama di Balai Kota, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (10/2/2016).

Menurut pria yang lebih akrab disapa Ahok itu, kawasan Kalijodo akan jauh lebih baik apabila dijadikan sebagai area hijau daripada diabaikan dan tetap dijadikan tempat prostitusi.

"Kami memang sudah membuat rencana untuk mengubah kawasan Kalijodo itu menjadi taman. Hanya saja, sampai dengan saat ini, kami masih konsentrasi dengan penataan Waduk Pluit di Jakarta Utara," ujar Ahok.

Lebih lanjut, mantan Bupati Belitung Timur itu menuturkan apabila penataan Waduk Pluit sudah selesai secara keseluruhan, maka kemudian akan segera dilakukan penataan kawasan Kalijodo.

"Kalau penataan Waduk Pluit sudah selesai, kami segera lanjutkan dengan penataan kawasan Kalijodo. Kami mengutamakan penataan kawasan yang berada di pinggir-pinggir sungai terlebih dahulu, salah satunya adalah Waduk Pluit. Kalau yang di Kalijodo itu kan sudah ada jalan inspeksi, jadi kami tunda dulu," tutur Ahok.

Sementara itu, dia pun menambahkan ketika penertiban dan penataan kawasan Kalijodo dilaksanakan, pihaknya akan meminta bantuan kepada Polisi serta TNI untuk pengamanan.

"Sekarang kami perkirakan dulu waktu pelaksanaannya. Kalau sudah ditetapkan, nanti kami akan minta bantuan Polisi dan TNI untuk pengamanan saat penertiban, karena dikhawatirkan ada perlawanan dari warga setempat," ungkap Ahok. (Ant)
